"I think I’m pretty lucky to be surrounded by a dreamy community of creative people who inspire and encourage me daily, and who are a major influence on my work/life. As well as that, the freelance florist community is full of exceptionally talented, creative humans who are so generous in sharing their knowledge, and I think they will always have an influence on my output. Beyond that, Fjura, Mary Lennox, and Wife NYC are a couple of favourite floral designers who are just always producing the most amazing and innovative work. I love that their work challenges the expectations of what floristry can or should be, and I hope that my work is able to emulate that in some way." "I’m also coming from a different sort of way of thinking about music that isn’t always technical or classical but where’s it’s more about play, exploration and experimentation. I’m not a purist in terms of the gear I use; I think you can make music with a shoe. And showing all these alternate ways of conceptualising what music can be and the processes of coming to that product – that’s why I really enjoy doing New Age Noise workshops with people and expanding conversations about who can make music." Super proud of NANC 👼, PU2ITY aka Alyssa (@hurtnipple)for sharing her incredible music with us. It was her first performance and she crushed it!! From getting our feet tapping with "i'm sorry that i didn't dance with you" to making us float when she played her track that she made with her dad (cute!!!!), PU2ITY made Saturn Return, a night to remember. 🧚‍♀️💫💖 📸 @georgiaginnivan

"I decided to take part in this performance in order to pay my dues and show my respect to a collective that I truly love. I also joined because I love music, I love performing and I love being in a safe space to experiment with my craft. For the gig – expect noise. Expect a lot of noise. Expect guitar, vocal wailing and me wearing clothing of some description." Our favourite bonafide weirdo and lovely NANC member, @okuesha_kills (aka Lili!!) gave us such a mesmerising, galactic performance for Saturn Return!! "I’ve gotten to know Del heaps more because of NAN and I think we have a great jamming relationship because we are used to working together. Each Cutlery music-making session has been different. I think Del and I are really versatile and we’ve focused on lots of different projects last year and this year.. When we get together, it starts off a bit like listening to each others sound and finding sounds, patterns, notes etc that can complement it. Thinking face.. Miraculously, we always end grinning, can’t believe we made a dope set, just like that 🙂" Huge thank you and love to Cutlery (our NAN mentors, @shiny_droppings & @nicolaisgreat !!) who gave us such a cosmic performance for Saturn Return. 🍴🌌☄️ 📸 @georgiaginnivan
